Textile Solvent based inks
Solvent-based inks are inks that use a solvent to dissolve the pigments and other components of the ink. The solvent evaporates after the ink is applied to the fabric, leaving the pigments behind. Solvent-based inks are typically used for textile printing because they offer a number of advantages over other types of inks, including:
- Durability: Solvent-based inks are very durable and can withstand washing, abrasion, and other environmental factors. This makes them ideal for use on fabrics that will be used in demanding applications, such as sportswear and workwear.
- Opacity: Solvent-based inks are very opaque and can produce vibrant colors on a variety of fabrics, including dark fabrics.
- Versatility: Solvent-based inks can be used to print on a wide range of fabrics, including natural fibers, synthetic fibers, and blended fabrics.
